Hilt | Made of fire-gilded iron, very ornate and decorated. Ovoid pommel chiseled in a spiral pattern with a beautiful effect and a grip. Tapered wooden grip wrapped with twisted wire. Features two Turkish-head ferrules to secure the ends of the grip. The guard or handguard is connected to various bridges or loops that cover the entire grip for good hand protection, all beautifully decorated forming an endless cord pattern. |
Blade | Straight with a deep groove in the first third bearing the name of the smith and his mark. Three fullers in the remaining length and finished to a point. Double-edged throughout. |
